Zoho Sign implementation: have documents signed electronically
Operion is a Zoho partner and sets up Zoho Sign for SMEs that no longer want to print, sign and send back quotes, contracts and other documents. Signing starts in the system where the document is already created.
What it does
What Zoho Sign does
With Zoho Sign you send a document to one or more signers, who sign it on their phone or computer. You decide who signs in which order, which fields they fill in and when a reminder follows.
For every document Zoho Sign keeps a log of who did what and when, and the signed file returns to the sender. You no longer have to chase who still needs to sign.

Who Zoho Sign suits
It suits SMEs that have documents signed on a regular basis: quotes and order confirmations, terms of delivery, employment agreements, non-disclosure agreements or customer approvals.
Not every document may simply be signed electronically. That depends on the type of document and on what you agreed with the signer, so check with your lawyer before you fix a process.

Who may send documents and who may only follow along.
Connections
Connections that matter
The most common route is signing from Zoho CRM: a quote goes from the deal to the customer and the signed file returns to the same deal. For personnel files the same works from Zoho People and Zoho Recruit.
For other systems we check in the intake whether a connection is available, or whether the document is sent by hand from Zoho Sign.

Frequently asked questions
Is an electronic signature valid?
For many documents it is, but it depends on the type of document and on what you and the signer have agreed. Special documents have requirements on their form. Check with your lawyer.
Does the signer have to create an account?
No. The signer receives a link by email and signs with it, without an account of their own at Zoho.
Can I use Zoho Sign from Zoho CRM?
Yes. You send a document from a deal or contact and the signed file returns to that record.
Is Zoho Sign part of Zoho One?
Yes, Zoho Sign is one of the apps in Zoho One. You can also take it on its own.
What happens after go-live?
After go-live you get four weeks of aftercare. After that, you can reach us on working days from 08:30 to 17:00 and we respond within 24 hours.
